DSCF is a framework of assessment of maturity for participants in spaces of European data. Evaluates technical capabilities, organisational, and governance fronts of the main European frameworks through a system of controls, scales of maturity and evidence that is verifiable.

Data sharing in Europe requires aligning with an ecosystem for technical and comprehensive regulatory needs. DSCF structure enables alignment through a comprehensive assessment that covers everything from governance to technical interoperability, regardless of the technology deployed.
Objective: to provide a diagnosis structured around degree of conformity, and maturity of the data space, to identify the gaps in front of the frames of reference and guide with a fitness plan.

DSCF articulates its 38 controls in 7 structural domains, as assessed by an approach inspired by MAGERIT. The system is based on documentary evidence and verifiable techniques , the quality of which determines the level of compliance achievable.
