The Data Space Compliance Framework was developed in response to the need to create environments that secure data and align with the European Strategy for
01 · TECHNICAL CONTENT
DSCF is part of an analysis of the state-of-the-art frameworks for the implementation of spaces of European data and the reference implementations of the field (FIWARE Data Space Connector, Eclipse Dataspace Components, Simpl). On that basis, it evaluates the technical maturity of the systems and the degree of compliance with the main frameworks of the ecosystem: DSSC, IDSA and Gaia-X.
02 · METHODOLOGY
More than an evaluation a virtual laboratory
DSCF is more than an evaluation framework, it works as a virtual laboratory designed to assess the readiness and maturity of data spaces, works as a virtual laboratory for evaluation. It identifies gaps against the established reference frameworks, asseses maturity of the data space across of the 7 structural domains and guides the development of an action-plan to ensure the conditions required to operate securly and reliably within a federated data space.
